| Today the sink/vanity went into the house along
with the toilet. It was an interesting task because none of
the parts seamed to be where they needed to be at the times
I needed them. Wow that was a little complicated. So the sink
went in without a problem as did the toilet. Right now the sink
isn't completely bolted down due to the lack of finishing work
on the drywall. Once I get them finished I will be able to bolt
it down and it will be perfect but due to the fact that I need
to be in the house I have to get things liveable asap. The tube
guy should be coming tomorrow to fix the fact that I take pride
in crashing random 2X4's into my brand new tube. WEEE HEEE.
It really wasn't on purpose (a not for those who don't know
me if you ever have a doubt whether I am serious or not, please
assume that I am not). Other than lack of drywall in the total
house picture the other main thing that I am missing is the
wiring / electrical. The electrician is supposed to be in this
week but it isn't looking really good. Oh well hopefully God
will insure that everything works out because I need the electricity
fixed so that I don't have to worry about burning the house
down. Well enough for now I will catch up more later. |

| Today we tested the water
line along with the newly plumbed sink and toilet. The first
test run indicated a faulty plumb of one of the sink lines (hot).
When plumbing this line, as I tightened the spicket on and cracked
to seal on a pipe allowing it to leak. I replumbed it, let it
dry and then tried it out again. This time it worked and allowed
me to also test the toilet as well. The toilet was very tricky
to fix but perserverence and process of elimination provided
the solution. Now all that is left is the electricity and the
house will be liveable (of a sort). Oh, there are new images
active as of today. Check out the new windows, front door and
some of the plumbing, etc. Until next time. |
